Unless your hair is excessively oily, then no need, in most cases, we will wash your hair before any hair service. However, if you are having an on-scalp hair colour service washing your hair beforehand, may sensitise your scalp and increase the chance of scalp irritation.
I suggest you wear something comfortable that is not bulky at the back of the neck for shampooing comfort. Jackets and Hoodies can be very bulky at the neck area. If your hair is to be styled for a special occasion then we suggest a button-down shirt for ease of removal, and to keep the style in place. Keep in mind also that whilst we take all care we do not take any responsibility for damage to clothing.
ARE ALL OF YOUR COLOURS AND PRODUCTS ORGANIC?
All permanent hair colour requires a synthetic agent to allow the colour pigment to enter the hair shaft to colour. No permanent hair colour is 100% Organic.
Our Organic hair colour has the lowest percentage of these agents, the purest pigments, with natural organic botanical oils, and vegetal ingredients that replace harsh chemicals found in traditional colour.
DO THE COLOURS CONTAIN PPD OR AMMONIA?
Our 010Plus colours are Plant-based hair colour and contains tiny percentages of ammonia and PPD in some cases. What's great about this colour is the low-skin contact time of 10 minutes of processing, after applilcation, making it gentle as well as fast.
Our Organethic Pure Care Colours PPD Free Hair colour, and we have Ammonia Free and very low Ammonia ranges. These colours contain vegetal & botanical ingredients, 40% organic oils to condition and protect, with 99% pure pigments, iron, nickel, lead and all other harmful substances removed.
DO YOUR PRODUCTS CONTAIN, SULPHATES, PARABENS AND OTHER TOXINS?
Our products do not contain Parabens, Sulphates (SLS), Formaldehyde, Resorcinol, Petrolatum, or Paraffins.
We only use Sulphate free shampoo in our salon.
All our hair products are paraben free.
We use vegan hair products - except where beeswax or honey is used.
Our Products are Cruelty-Free.
