If you don't require a colour service, we'll use this time to fully understand your hair needs and tailor your appointment accordingly. If you are interested in colouring services, your consultation will also include a mandatory skin test. This is a requirement by all professional colour manufacturers and must be performed at least 48 hours before any colour treatment.

Our Salon Policy



COLOUR CONSULTATIONS - NEW COLOUR CLIENTS (no charge)



We require brand-new colour clients to visit the salon for a free-of-charge in-salon consultation at least 48 hours before their scheduled appointment.


WHAT IS THE CONSULTATION FOR?


Consult

We discuss your hair goals, your hair condition is evaluated as to its suitability for the new colour, and we also talk about past colour services (even though it may look like your previous colour has washed out, there can still be residual pigment in your hair that can affect a new colour outcome)


Skin or Patch test

This is extremely important! Allergies are becoming more and more common nowadays, and all hair colour manufacturers recommend that a skin sensitivity test be performed. We understand it can be inconvenient. We place a small dot behind your ear let it sit for a few minutes and wipe away the excess. It needs to sit undisturbed for 48hrs to see if there is any reaction (itch, tingle or redness)


Pricing and Time allocation for your appointment

We can also speak about the costs involved in achieving your desired result. This also allows me to ensure enough time has been allocated for your service. You will also have a better idea of when to expect to be finished.






ARRIVING ON TIME.



We understand that life and family get in the way at times, however, lateness in a salon can have a knock-on effect on other clients and their appointment times.

If you are running late, please let us know, and we will try to accommodate you if time allows. However, we may not have the capacity to finish all your services, in which case, you can reschedule, or choose to make another booking.





CLOTHING



Please be mindful of your choice of clothing for your salon visit.

If you are having your hair styled for a special event we suggest wearing a button-down shirt that is easy to take off without going over your head.
